My husband and I took a huge leap of faith when he accepted a job in the Tyson’s area last year. We packed up everything we owned and moved from Texas to Virginia, all within a two week timeline.
We were just getting settled in when I found out about the opportunity to work for AveryHess. When we moved here, I left my job of ten years as a retail store manager with the apparel brand, Anthropologie. I was anxious about starting a career in a completely different field but I have absolutely loved taking my past experience with a creative company and using those skills to be successful in my role with AveryHess. I am passionate about helping people, love customer care and problem-solving. For me, the great rapport that I’ve built in this past year with owners and tenants is the most rewarding part of my job.
In my free time, I love spending time with my husband. We like strolling down King Street, biking, and exploring. I am pretty creative so when I need some “me time”, I like to thrift and find furniture rehab projects.
