Please remember, rent is due in advance on the 1st of each month in accordance with your lease. While doing online payments, please note it takes 1-3 business days for a payment to deposit into the property management company’s bank account. If the payment was initiated via standard processing, it will take 3 business days to deposit. Express processing will take 1 business day. Business days are defined as days when the Federal Reserve is open and do not include weekends and banking holidays.
Standard Processing Example: A transaction processed prior to 10:50 PM EST on Monday will be sent to the tenant’s bank account for debiting on Monday and deposit to the property management company’s bank account Wednesday night. It will post to the property management company’s bank account Thursday morning. Hence the paid out date for that transaction is THURSDAY morning. If your rent payment was due PRIOR to Thursday, it will be late.
